Phone 4a and 4a Pro Launch
Design and Display
Phone 4a: The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits—or 5,000 nits for HDR content. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The design maintains a transparent aesthetic with a redesigned "Glyph Bar" composed of 63 mini-LEDs in seven controllable zones, positioned to the right of the camera module. Color options include black, white, blue, and pink. The phone has an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
Phone 4a Pro: This model introduces an aluminum unibody design, described as the company's thinnest phone at 7.95mm. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak brightness, and 2,500Hz touch sampling. The back is not fully transparent but retains transparent elements in the camera module. The camera housing has an oblong shape containing a new, brighter "Glyph Matrix" of 137 mini-LEDs capable of custom light patterns for notifications. It is available in black, silver, and pink, and carries an IP65 water resistance rating.

The device supports 120fps video capture at full HD and can shoot up to 30 Ultra XDR images (co-developed with Google) sequentially via Action Mode.
