French Divorce Law Clarified Following ECHR Decision
A decision by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has made it, in practice, impossible for any French divorce judge to issue similar rulings.
Consequently, a new law has been enacted in France. This legislation is primarily intended as a clarification of existing legal provisions and is not anticipated to have a major impact on the French court system.
