2026 NFL Draft Pre-Draft Meeting Tracker Initiated

The 2026 NFL Draft pre-draft meeting tracker has been initiated to document interactions between prospective players and NFL teams.

The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 23.

NFL teams utilize various formal events for pre-draft meetings with eligible players. These include all-star games such as the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl, the NFL Scouting Combine, and college pro days. Virtual meetings, common since 2020, are also utilized. Additionally, teams can conduct private visits, either at college campuses or by hosting prospects at their own facilities.

The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is scheduled from Monday, February 23, to Monday, March 2. At the Combine, teams are permitted to speak with any player but are allocated 45 "formal" interviews, despite over 300 prospects typically receiving invitations.

Teams are allowed to host up to 30 players for interviews and medical evaluations at their facilities.

Players who live or attend college in the local area are not counted toward this limit. These events are commonly referred to as "top 30 visits," although they do not necessarily reflect the top 30 players on a team’s draft board. It is generally understood that teams engage with most players they consider draftable or potential priority undrafted free agent signings throughout the pre-draft process.
