Essendon North Beauty Salon Hit by Two Arson Attacks in Two Days
A beauty salon in Essendon North has been subjected to two arson attacks within two days, leading to resident evacuations and extensive damage. Police are actively investigating the incidents.
Friday Morning Attack
On Friday around 2 AM, approximately 100 residents were evacuated from their multi-storey apartment building after Aura Skin on Keilor Road was rammed by a white four-wheel-drive ute. The vehicle then penetrated a temporary plywood door, which had been installed following a previous attack, before the premises were subsequently set alight. Police reported that the perpetrators used a liquid to ignite the fire.

History of Incidents at the Address
The same address has a history of similar incidents. It was involved in a ramming incident in July 2025. Furthermore, last year, the business – which operated under a different name at the time – was also set alight following a vehicle ramming. That vehicle was reportedly spray-painted with demands for payment.
