Fatal Bulldozer Incident at Port of Brisbane
A man has died following a bulldozer incident at a cement site at the Port of Brisbane.
Emergency services responded to Bulk Terminals Drive around 6:20 AM after reports of a worker being injured in a machinery incident.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters were requested to stabilize a rolled bulldozer during recovery efforts. Aerial footage displayed a bulldozer that appeared to have collided with another large piece of machinery. The bulldozer was observed propped up by a jack.
Investigation Underway
Police are collaborating with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) on the investigation. WHSQ inspectors are currently on-site, and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
