In 2024, reports from The Information indicated that Apple had developed clamshell foldable prototypes while researching a foldable iPhone. Initially, a tablet-style foldable was expected to launch, but the clamshell concept has re-emerged.
Exploring Diverse Foldable Form FactorsApple is also said to be considering a book-style foldable device. An 18-inch foldable iPad was previously reported as being under consideration, with an estimated cost of around $3000.
Anticipated Debut: First Foldable iPhone SpecsApple's first foldable iPhone is anticipated to feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner display.
