Investigation Launched After Greenacre Firebomb Attack
Police have initiated an investigation following a firebomb attack on an unoccupied residence in Greenacre, Sydney's south-west.
Emergency Response and Minor Damage
Emergency services responded to the property on Macquarie Street at 1 AM today after reports of a glass firebomb being thrown, which ignited a blaze. Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire, which caused minor damage to the front of the house.
Evidence Seized, No Injuries
A crime scene was established, and a fuel jerry can found at the front of the house was seized for forensic examination.
The home was confirmed to be unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
Call for Public Assistance
Authorities are seeking information, dashcam, and mobile phone footage related to the incident to assist their ongoing investigation.
