Nvidia Founders Edition GPUs Crowned Most Reliable in 2025 Report
A new report from tech firm Puget Systems indicates that Nvidia's RTX 50 Founders Edition GPUs were the most reliable graphics cards in 2025. This significant finding comes amidst ongoing industry concerns regarding connector issues in various GPUs.
Nvidia's RTX 50 Founders Edition GPUs were the most reliable graphics cards in 2025, according to a report from Puget Systems.
Reliability Findings
The report details impressive reliability statistics for Nvidia Founders Edition GPUs, which recorded a failure rate of just 0.25%, positioning them as the undisputed leader in reliability.
Following closely, Asus GPUs demonstrated a respectable 0.40% failure rate. PNY GPUs also showed strong performance with a 0.45% failure rate.
Context of Connector Issues
The 12V-2x6 connector, commonly found on high-tier RTX cards, has been a focal point of discussion due to associated issues in some GPU models.
However, these connector problems were noted to be nearly nonexistent with Nvidia's self-manufactured Founders Edition cards.
Founders Edition cards are generally recognized for their superior reliability, attributed to their construction from high-quality materials, robust power delivery systems, and over-engineered designs.
