Alassane Ouattara, 83, has secured a fourth term as President of Ivory Coast, according to provisional results. He received 89.8% of the vote in an election where two notable challengers were excluded from participation.

President Ouattara secured 89.8% of the vote. The provisional results were announced by the electoral commission on Monday. Businessman Jeal-Louis Billon received 3.09% of the vote.
Candidate Exclusion and Voter Participation
Former President Laurent Gbagbo and former Credit Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam were barred from the presidential race. Following their exclusion, both individuals urged their supporters to boycott the vote. The electoral commission reported that voter turnout for the election was 50.1%.
