Dennis Ross

Dennis Ross serves as Counselor at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and holds a professorship at Georgetown University.

He previously held the position of U.S. Envoy to the Middle East and was involved in senior national security roles across the Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Clinton, and Obama administrations.

David Makovsky

David Makovsky is the Director of the Koret Project on Arab-Israel Relations at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He also works as an Adjunct Lecturer of Middle East Studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.

From 2013 to 2014, Makovsky served as a senior adviser to the Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations within the U.S. Department of State.
