Samsung has unveiled its 2026 lineup of OLED televisions and monitors, including next-generation Odyssey gaming displays and the ViewFinity S8 series. The new products feature Nvidia G-SYNC compatibility and, in the case of the Odyssey G8 G80HS, a 6K resolution that Samsung claims is a first for gaming monitors.

2026 OLED TV Lineup

Samsung's 2026 OLED TV lineup includes three models: the S95H, S90H, and S85H. All models support Nvidia G-SYNC compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for HDR gaming, and HDR10+ ADVANCED. The refresh rates vary by model:

  • S95H and S90H: Support up to 165Hz and incorporate glare-free technology.
  • S85H: Supports up to 120Hz.

Industry Context

Reports note that current high-end graphics processing units, such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, may have difficulty maintaining frame rates above 60 frames per second at native 6K resolution in modern video games. The dual-mode feature on certain monitors is designed to allow users to switch to a lower resolution for higher refresh rates.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung has not disclosed pricing for the new monitors. Some models are already available for order in certain regions, with U.S. listings pending. The Movingstyle Essential monitor is scheduled for release later.
