Crossing Process and Reversal

Travelers reported a slow process at the crossing, with waiting periods extending throughout the day and evening. Some individuals, including some of Abu Talha's relatives, had reportedly reached the Palestinian side of the border. However, due to what officials described as a technical problem, all individuals who had attempted the crossing were subsequently returned to Egypt.
