Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. has published its earnings report for the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2026 (ending December 2025), providing updated lifetime sales figures for its major franchises and full financial results.

Franchise Sales Milestones

The Grand Theft Auto series exceeds expectations.

The following figures represent lifetime global sales-in (units sold to retailers or digitally) as of the end of the reporting period:

  • Grand Theft Auto series: Over 470 million units. Grand Theft Auto V accounts for nearly 230 million units.
  • Red Dead Redemption series: Nearly 115 million units. Red Dead Redemption 2 accounts for over 85 million units.
  • NBA 2K series: Over 173 million units.
  • Borderlands series: Over 100 million units. Borderlands 2 accounts for over 31 million units.
  • Sid Meier's Civilization series: Over 80 million units.

Financial Results

  • Q4 Net Bookings: $1.58 billion
  • Full Fiscal Year Net Bookings: $6.7 billion

Company Outlook & Commentary

The company is raising its Net Bookings outlook for Fiscal 2026. In a statement, CEO Strauss Zelnick highlighted record Net Bookings and Recurrent Consumer Spending for the NBA 2K franchise, as well as the highest Net Bookings for Zynga since its acquisition.

Zelnick projected record levels of Net Bookings in Fiscal 2027, citing the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto VI as a key contributing factor.

The release date for Grand Theft Auto VI is November 19th.
