Two Charged in Domestic Violence Murder in NSW Southern Tablelands

Two individuals have been charged in connection with the domestic violence-related murder of a woman in the NSW Southern Tablelands.

Police located the body of a 48-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds at a Goulburn residence on January 3, following a reported welfare concern.

On Thursday, authorities apprehended a 40-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man at a Goulburn home.

Both individuals have been charged with one count of murder relating to domestic violence. They were refused bail and are scheduled to appear in Bail Division Local Court on Friday.

Police indicate that the victim was known to the accused parties.

The victim had previously been in a domestic relationship with the 40-year-old woman.
