Western Force Announce Three New Additions for 2026 Season

The Western Force rugby team has announced three new additions to its squad for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season. The new players are Australia Sevens representative Henry Palmer, Irish openside flanker Jack Daly, and Tongan tighthead Misinale Epenisa.

Henry Palmer and Jack Daly have previously played for the Force during the Super Rugby AUS campaign in September and October. Misinale Epenisa recently joined the Force Academy after his performance for Manawatu in New Zealand.

Henry Palmer

Palmer has a background with the ACT Brumbies, participating in their Super Rugby Men’s Under-19s title run in 2022. He was also part of the Eastern Suburbs team that reached the Shute Shield Grand Final last season.

Force coach Simon Cron noted Palmer's speed and professionalism, stating that he has potential to play Super Rugby on the wing.

Jack Daly

Daly, 27, has experience over several seasons with Munster in the URC and is a former Ireland U20 representative, having competed at the World Rugby U20 Championship in 2018. He also played for Ireland Sevens.

Coach Cron highlighted Daly's work ethic and his role as an on-ball seven, which will help increase depth in that position.

Misinale Epenisa

Epenisa has been promoted from the Academy following Tiaan Tauakipulu's retirement in December. He has signed a deal through 2028. Epenisa made seven appearances for the Manawatu Turbos in last year’s NPC campaign.

Coach Cron noted Epenisa's scrum shape and physical strength, identifying him as a valuable addition to the team.
