Mongolia's Measles Death Toll Rises to 13 Amidst Hospitalizations

Mongolia's measles death toll has reached 13, following the recording of one additional fatality, according to the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD). The NCCD also reported that 77 individuals are currently hospitalized due to the disease, with nine children in critical condition.

On Saturday, the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) announced that the number of measles-related deaths in Mongolia has risen to 13. This increase includes one newly recorded death. The NCCD's statement also indicated that 77 individuals are receiving hospital care for measles, among whom nine children have been identified as being in critical condition.

Public Health Advisory

The NCCD has issued an advisory urging parents to vaccinate their children with two doses of the measles vaccine. This measure is recommended as an effective way to protect against the disease.
