Muir Secures Olympic Final Spot
Kirsty Muir qualified in third position in the freeski slopestyle event. Her best score from two runs was 64.98, placing her behind Mathilde Gremaud of Switzerland and Eileen Gu of China, who were the gold and silver medallists at the Beijing 2022 Games.

Muir, who has secured three World Cup golds in the past year, including two in slopestyle, following an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, stated that she was relieved after qualifying, citing initial nervousness. She is now preparing for the Olympic final, scheduled for Monday at 11:30 GMT.
McCormick's Olympic Debut
Chris McCormick did not advance to the men's slopestyle final, recording a best score of 33.90 and missing a top 12 placement. McCormick, making his Olympic debut while recovering from an ankle injury, mentioned that reaching the start gate was a significant achievement for him.

Anna Pryce Makes British History
Anna Pryce became the first British athlete to compete in the women's 10km + 10km skiathlon at an Olympic Games. Pryce, who previously represented Canada, finished 42nd, seven minutes and 24 seconds behind the gold medallist, Frida Karlsson of Sweden.
