India's Post-Hasina Policy Sparks Bangladeshi Dissatisfaction
Following the ousting of Hasina last August, India's response appears to have intensified dissatisfaction among some Bangladeshis.
Many in Bangladesh had anticipated that India would adjust its policy, which had largely been seen as supporting one particular party. However, India subsequently offered refuge to Hasina and tightened visa and trade restrictions.
Ahmed indicated that the message conveyed to Dhaka was that Bangladeshis were "not being valued as neighbours" by India.
