US Delegation Attends Spring Festival

The US delegation was led by Natalie Baker, Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Islamabad. The group also included Stetson Sanders, US Consul General in Lahore, and Deputy Assistant Secretary John Mark Pommersheim.

During the event, members of the US embassy actively participated in kite flying, a central activity of the Basant celebrations.

UK Ambassador Joins Festivities

UK Ambassador Jane Marriott also joined the Basant celebrations, leading an official delegation from the United Kingdom.

Diplomatic Guests Received by Pakistani Officials

Pakistani officials received both the US and UK delegations. Among those present were Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Azma Zahid Bokhari, and Provincial Minister for Communications Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath.
