Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls – New Details Revealed on Steam Page

The Steam store page for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has been updated, revealing new details about the upcoming game, which was first announced over eight months ago. Further character reveals are anticipated soon.

Launch Roster Details

According to the updated 'about' section, Marvel Tokon will launch with an 'expanding roster of 20 iconic Marvel characters.' These characters will be rendered in an anime-inspired art style and will be part of unique teams for 4v4 fighting action.

Previously, only 8 characters had been announced: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Doctor Doom, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, and Ghost Rider. This leaves 12 additional characters yet to be revealed for the launch roster.

The initial roster size of 20 fighters is comparable to other recent tag fighters, such as 2XKO (11 characters) and Invincible VS (18 characters). While many popular Marvel characters are potential additions, not all will be part of the initial launch.

Post-release support, including additional DLC characters, is expected, with details on the release pace and update longevity yet to be specified.

Other Game Information

The Steam page also confirms that PC players will require a PlayStation account for online gameplay. A single-player episode mode will be included to explore the game's characters.

Release Window and Upcoming Announcements

Although a specific release date has not been set, Marvel Tokon is projected for the latter half of 2026, indicated by its absence from the Evo 2026 lineup.

More information about Fighting Souls is expected on Thursday, February 12.
