The Helldivers franchise, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, first launched its original game in 2015. Its sequel, Helldivers 2, debuted in 2024 and quickly became a massive success.
Within its first four months, Helldivers 2 sold over 12 million units across PlayStation 5 and PC, and recently expanded its availability to Xbox players. The game's narrative immerses players in a universe where elite soldiers, known as Helldivers, are tasked with defending the fictional planet Super Earth from various alien threats.
